Use Ttogger, our free tennis betting program, to calculate fair tennis odds, simply based on the game winning percentages you expect for each player.
Have you ever asked yourself, “With all the tennis players’ stats so easily available, is there an easy way to calculate the odds for a given match?” Fortunately there is such a way, and Ttogger is the implementation of this way into an easy-to-use program.
This easy way of modelling tennis is based on the assumption of identically and independently distributed points, i.e., on the assumption that a player’s point winning probability depends on his opponent, but stays constant throughout a match; scientific research papers from different authors have shown the validity of this approach. We improve this idea by the introduction of a frontrunner bias, which allows an automatic ad-hoc inclusion of form by increasing the point winning probability of the player who won the first set(s). With this, the question “What are the fair odds for this match?” reduces to
Where do I find the game winning probabilities relevant to this match?
